This hexagon can be split into 6 triangles which are equilateral

area of equilateral triangle = √3 × side² / 4

since side of each triangle is the same so area is also the same

Area of Hexagon = 6 x area of 1 triangle

= 6 x sqrt(3) x 6x6/ 4

= 54 x sqrt(3)

= 93.5 sq cm ( approx)

area of equilateral triangle = √3 x side^2/ 4

since side of each triangle is the same so area is also the same

Area of Hexagon = 6 x area of 1 triangle

= 6 x √3 x 6x6/ 4

= 54 x √3
