Given:

  • One side of rhombus measures = 10cm
  • One of its diagonal = 12cm

To Find:

  • The area of Rhombus = ?

Solution:

By using the formula ,

 \boxed {\bold{area =  \frac{side \times diagonal}{2}}}

 \bold{area \:  =  \frac{ \sqrt{ {p}^{2} +  {q}^{2}  } }{2}}  \\

 \bold{area =  \frac{1}{2}p \sqrt{4 {a}^{2} -  {p}^{2}  }} \\   \\ \bold{ =  \frac{1} { \cancel2}  \times  \cancel12 \times  \sqrt{4 \times  {10}^{2} -  {12}^{2}  } } \\  \\  \boxed{\bold \red{  = 96cm ^{2}}}
