When two diagonals are given for a rhombus, to find its area the formula is
Area=1/2*d1*d2
So area=1/2*12*26=156cm^2

Here, we're given with a rhombus PQRS with measure of its diagonals, where 1st diagonal, that is, the horizontal diagonal (PR) measures 12 cm while the 2nd diagonal, that is, vertical diagonal measures 26 cm.

Henceforth, we're supposed to find the area of the given rhombus, that is, Area of PQRS.

As we know that,

If the diagonals measure is given then the required formula to find area of a rhombus is given as,

Let us assume that 'x' be the 1st diagonal PR and 'y' be the 2nd diagonal QS , respectively.

Area of rhombus = \sf   \dfrac{x \times y}{2}  \\

Substituting the values,

: \implies \:  \: \sf Area =  \dfrac{12 \times 26}{2}  \\  \\

: \implies \:  \: \sf Area =  \dfrac{312}{2}  \\  \\

: \implies \:  \: \sf Area =  \cancel\dfrac{312}{2}  \\  \\

\large: \implies \:  \: \sf Area =  156 \: c {m}^{2}

Hence, we get that the area of required rhombus PQRS is 156 cm².
