We know,

A rhombus has 2 diagonals.

Hence, Area of Rhombus

= 1 / 2 × Diagonal₁ × Diagonal₂

∴ Area of Rhombus

= [ 1 / 2 × 14 × 48 ] cm²

= [ 7 × 48 ] cm²

= 336 cm²

Hence, the area of rhombus is 336 cm².

a =  \frac{p \times q}{2}  \\  \\ a =  \frac{14 \times 48}{2}  \\  \\ a = 336 \:  {cm}^{2}
