Given,

Side of rhombus = 12cm

Height of rhombus = 75cm

We know that,

Area of rhombus = Area of Parallelogram

Area of parallelogram = base × height

= 12 × 75

= 900cm²

Therefore, the area of rhombus is 900cm².

More Information

→ Diagonals if a rhombus are not equal but bisect each other at right angle

→ area of rhombus is also given be 1/2 × product of diagonals

\huge{\text{solution:}}

\huge{\text{Steps:}}

  • \bold{Area\:of\:rhombus\:is\:equal\:to\:Area\:of\:parallelogram}

  • \bold{So,\:base\:×\:height\:is\:the\:formula\:to\:find\:area}

  • 12× 75 = 900cm²

  • Now, remember to write units

  • And for areas, the units can be cm² or m² and not in cubes.
