find the area of a rhombus whose one side measures 20 cm and one diagonal is 24 cm

Hey, --

Let the other diagonal be 2x then its bisector is x.
By Pythagoras theorem

X^2=20^2-12^2
X^2=400-144.
X^2=256
X=16
X, =16its diagonal become 32

Now area of rhombus =1/2*24*32
384 will be your right answer.
