Find the area of a rhombus whose side is 20 cm and one if its
diagonal is 24 cm, by using Heron’s formula.

area of triangle=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

a+b+c/2=

20+24+c=44c

so,c=44

s=44

area of a triangle=√s(s-a)(s-b(s-c)

=√44(44-20)(44-24)(44-44)

=√44(24)(20)(0)

=√1056(20)

=√21,120
