Find the area of a rhombus whose side is 5cm and whose altitude is 4.8cm.
If one of its diagnols is 8cm long , find the length of the other diagnol.

Area of rhombus A = base x height
A= 5 x 4.8= 24 cm2
Another formula for Area is A = d1 x d2 / 224
= 8 x d2 / 2d2
= 48/8d2
= 6 cm
