Answer:

Area = 24 cm²

Diagonal = 6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the area of a rhombus whose side is 6 cm and whose altitude is 4 cm. if one of its diagonal is 8 cm long, find the length of another diagonal.

Area of rhombus =  Length of Side * Altitude

=> Area of rhombus = 6 * 4 = 24 cm²

Also area of rhombus = (1/2) * Diagonal1 * Diagonal2

=> 24 = (1/2) * 8 * Diagonal2

=> 24 = 4 * Diagonal2

=> Diagonal2 = 24/4

=> Diagonal2 = 6 cm

Hence Area = 24 cm² & Other Diagonal = 6 cm
