Given : A rhombus whose side is 7.5 cm and whose altitude is 6.8 cm.

One of its diagonals is 6 cm long,

To find:  Area of a rhombus

the length of the other diagonal.

Solution:

Area of rhombus =  side * Altitude

=> Area of rhombus =  7.5 * 6.8

=> Area of rhombus =  51 cm²

Area of rhombus = (1/2) * product of diagonals

=> (1/2) * 6 * x  = 51

=> x = 17

Hence length of other diagonal is 17 cm

17 > 7.5 + 7.5

Diagonal length can not be more than sum of two sides

Hence There is some mistake in data
