Step-by-step explanation:

given that: diagonal of rohmbus= 48cm, sides of rhombus are 25cm

Let ABCD is a rhombus , then it is divided into two triangles , triangle ABD and triangle BCD

then find the area of triangle ABD,

AB=25cm, BD=48cm, AD=25cm,

find semiperimeter of triangle ABD

semiperimeter=48+25+25÷2=98/2= 49cm

then,area of triangle ABD=root S(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)=root 49(49-48)(49-25)(49-25)=root 49(1)(24)(24)= 24 root 49=24 root7×7=24×7=168cm2.

area of rhombus = area of triangle ABD+area of triangle BCD=2×area of triangle ABD=2×168=336cm2.

Area of rhombus is= 336cm2
