Step-by-step explanation:

Area Of rhombus = 1/2 × d1 ×d2

In ∆ ADO

By using Pythagoras theorem

( AD )^2 = ( OD ) ^2 + ( OA ) ^2

AC = OC + OA

OC = OA = 6/2

OA = 3 cm

( 5 ) ^2 = ( OD ) ^2 + ( 3 ) ^2

25 = ( OD ) ^2 + 9

25 - 9 = ( OD ) ^2

16 = ( OD ) ^2

√16 = OD

4 = OD

BD = DO + OB

BD = OD + OD

BD = 2 ( 4 )

BD = 8 cm

Area of rhombus = 1/2 × d1 × d2

1/2 × 4 × 8

= 16cm ^2
