Given :   a right-angled triangle of hypotenuse 91 cm and height 35 cm.

To find : area of   right-angled triangle

Solution:

in right angle triangle

Base²  + Height²   = Hypotenuse²

Height = 35 cm

Hypotenuse = 91 cm

Base = ?

Base² + 35²  = 91²

=> Base² = 91² - 35²

=> Base² = (91 + 35)(91 - 35)

=> Base² = 126 * 56

=> Base² =  2 * 3 * 3 * 7 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 7

=> Base² = 2²  * 2² * 3² * 7²

=> Base  = 2 * 2  * 3 * 7

=> Base = 84

Area of right angle triangle = (1/2) Base * Height

= (1/2) * 84 * 35

= 42 * 35

= 1470  cm²

area of a right-angled triangle   = 1470  cm²
