Find the area of a right angled triangle whose hypotenuse is 5 m and base is 4 m .

The height will be calculated using Pythagoras theorem Height=underroot 5^2 - 4^2 = 3 The area of a right angled triangle is 1/2* base*height Therefore the answer is 1/2*4*3 = 6
