Given:

  • The sides containing the right angle measure 10 cm and 8 cm

To Find:

  • Area of Right triangle

Solution:

Area of Traingle = 1/2 × B × H

Where,

  • Base = 10 cm
  • Height = 8 cm

→ 1/2 × 10 × 8

→ 10 × 4

→ 40 cm

Hence,

  • Area of Traingle is 40 cm²

Solution :-

We know that,

  • The sides containing the right angle of a right angled triangle are perpendicular height and base .

So, let perpendicular height and base of given right angled ∆ are 10 cm and 8 cm respectively .

then,

→ Area of ∆ = (1/2) * base * perpendicular height

→ Area of ∆ = (1/2) * 8 * 10

→ Area of ∆ = 4 * 10

→ Area of ∆ = 40 cm² (Ans.)

therefore, area of given right angled triangle is equal to 40 cm² .
