Hypotenuse = 3.7 m

Base = 1.2 m

Perpendicular = sqrt ( H^2 - B^2)

= sqrt ( 3.7^2 - 1.2^2)

= sqrt ( 13.69 - 1.44)

= sqrt (12.22)

= 3.5 m

Area = Base *Perpendicular /2

= 3.5 * 1.2/ 2

= 3.5 * 0.6

= 2.1 m^2

b = 1.2m \\ h = 3.7m \\  {p}^{2} =  {h}^{2}   -  {b}^{2}  =  {(3.7)}^{2}  -  {(1.2)}^{2}  = 13.69 - 1.44 = 12.25 \\ p = 3.5 \\ area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 1.2 \times 3.5 \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:   = 0.6 \times 3.5  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 2.10 {m}^{2}
