(prependicular)^2 = (hypotenous)^2 - (base)^2
(p)^2 = (13)^2 - (5)^2
p^2 = 169-25
p^2 = 144
p = 12cm
area of right angle traingle = 1/2 × base × height
= 1/2 × 5 × 12
= 30cm^2
