Answer:

H(Hypotenuse)=13 cm

L(length)=5cm

Area of a triangle =B^2=H^2-P^2

=B^2=13-5

=B^2=8 cm

so,The area of right triangle is B=8cm.

Answer:

(H)² = (B)² + (P)²

(13)² = (5)² + (P)²

169 = 25 + P²

169-25 = P²

144 = P²

under root 144 = P

12 = P

Hence hieght of the triangle is 12cm.

Now, area of triangle = 1/2 * base * hieght

= 1/2 * 5 * 12

= 1*5*6 (2 cancells 12 by 6)

=30cm²

So, area of triangle is 30cm² .
