Given:

Hypotenuse = 13cm

One side = 5cm

To Find:

Area

Formula:

The formula to find the area of right angle triangle is 1/2 base x height.

Find:

First we have to find the other side of the triangle.

A/Q Lets find:

5² + x² = 13²

25 + x² = 169

x² = 169 - 25

x² = 144

x = 12

Now we got the other side as 12cm

Solution:

1/2 x 12 x 5

6 x 5

30 cm²
