GIVEN :

Radius of Circle = 14cm

Sectorial angle = ø = 45°

We know that,

Area of sector = ø/360 × πr²

= 45/360 × π × (14)²

= 45/360 × 22/7 × 14 × 14

= 1/8 × 22 × 2 × 14

= 1/8 × 22 × 28

= 1/8 × 616

= 77cm²

Therefore, area of sector is 77cm²

Answer:

\large \text{$A=77 \ cm^2$}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Radius ( r ) = 14 cm     and  angle ( θ ) = 45

We know formula for  sector of circle ( A )

\Large \text{$A=\dfrac{\theta \ \pi \ r^2}{360} $}

where θ  is angle and r is radius

Now putting values in formula we get

\large \text{$A=\dfrac{45 \ \pi \ 14^2}{360} $}\\\\\\\large \text{$A=\dfrac{22\times14\times14}{8\times7} $}\\\\\\\large \text{$A=\dfrac{11\times7\times2}{2} $}\\\\\\\large \text{$A=77 \ cm^2$}

Thus we get answer.
