✭ Appropriate Question :

  • find the area of a sector of circle of radius 28cm and central angle 45°

✭ Required Solution :

✩ Formula used here :

  • Area of sector of circle = πr²/360 × θ

✭ Values given to us :

  • Radius (r) = 28cm

  • Central Angle (θ) = 45°

✭ Putting in formula :

  • Area of sector = 22/7 × (28) ²/ 360 × 45°

  • 22 × 28 × 28 / 7 × 45° /360 cm

  • 22 × 4 × 28 × 1/8 cm

  • 22 × 14 cm

  • Area of sector of circle = 308 cm²

✩ Area of sector of circle = 308 cm²✩

Answer:

Given :-

  • A circle of radius 28 cm and central angle 45°.

Find Out :-

  • Area of sector.

Solution :-

We know that,

Area of sector = πr²/360 × θ

Then,

  • Radius = 28 cm
  • Central angle = 45°

By substituting the formula we get,

Area of sector of circle = 22/7 × (28)²/360 × 45°

Area of sector of circle = 22/7 × 784/360 × 45°

Area of sector of circle = 22/7 × 196/90 × 45°

Area of sector of circle = 22/7 × 98

Area of sector of circle = 22 × 14

Area of sector of circle = 308 cm²

Area of sector of circle is 308 cm².
