So, area of the sector is given by:-

 \frac{45}{360}  \times \pi \times  {7}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{1}{8} \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \\  =  \frac{77}{4}  \\  = 13.75 \:  {cm}^{2}
