find the area of a sector of the circle with radius 14 cm if the lengthof corresponding arc is 22 cm.

Radius = 14 cm

Length of arc = 22 cm

=> 2* pi * r * A/360 = 22

=> 2*22*14*A/7 *360 = 22

=> 44* 2*A = 22*360

=> A = 22*360/44*2

=> A = 90°


AREA = pi *r^2 * 90 / 360

= 22*14*14 *90/7*360

= 22*2*14/4

= 11*14

= 154 cm^2
