find the area of a semicircle whose perimeter is 54 cm

perimeter =54

perimeter of semicircle=pi*r+2r

=r(pi+2)

=r(22/7+2)

r(36/7)=54

r=21/2

area of semicircle=pi*r^2*1/2

22/7*21/2*21/2*1/2

= 693/4

=173.25 is the area of semicircle
