Let the original side be 5x
=> area of square = (5x)² = 25x²
New side of square = 2/5(5x) = 2x
=> Area of new square = (2x)² = 4x
=> area of square = (5x)² = 25x²
New side of square = 2/5(5x) = 2x
=> Area of new square = (2x)² = 4x
