Answer:

Perimeter=4*S(for square)

320m=4s

Side=320/4

side=80m

hence area =s*s=80m*80m=6400m^2

Question:

Find the area of a square park whose perimeter is 320 m.

Solution:

Given:

Perimeter of square park = 320 m.

We know,

Perimeter of square = 4 × side

So,

4 × side = 320

Side =  \dfrac{320}{4}

Side = 80 m.

Area of Square park =  \bold{{Side}^{2}}

 = {(80)}^{2} \\ = 80 \times 80 \\ = 6400

Therefore, area of the square park is \bold{6400 m^{2}} .
