Answer:

Perimeter of a square = 4 × side

⇒ 4 × side = 320

⇒ side = 320/4

⇒ side = 80m

Area of a square = side2

Hence, Area of the square park = 802 = 80 × 80 = 6400m2

Answer:

Given :-

  • perimeter => 320m

To find :-

  • area of square park

Using formula :-

  • area of square=(side)²
  • perimeter of square=4×side

Solution :-

According to question first we find side then area

Let the side be x

 \longrightarrow \:   \mathcal{\pink{perimeter  = 4 \times  x}}

 \longrightarrow \:   \mathcal{\purple{320 \: m = 4x}}

 \longrightarrow \:   \mathcal{\red{ x =  \frac{320 \: m}{4} }}

 \longrightarrow \:   \mathcal{\green{x  = 80 \:m}}

Hence side is 80m

Area of a square park = side²

\longrightarrow \:   \mathcal{\blue{  {80 \: m}^{2}  }}

\longrightarrow \:   \mathcal{\red{ {6400 \: m}^{2}  }}

Hence , area of a square park is 6400m²
