UR ANSWER IN SHORT ..

If side of square is 'a', then 2–√a=10. Squaring both sides, 2a2=100 a2=50 Area is 50 sqcm.

⇒ Diagonal =square root of 2×side

⇒ Side =10/sq root of 2

⇒ Area of square=a^2

⇒ Area of square= (10/sq root 2)^2

⇒ Area of square = 100/2

⇒Area of square= 50
