  • It is given that the length of diagonal is 96 cm

We have to find out the area of the square.

  • Now, we know the relation between diagonal and side of a square.

diagonal = side /\sqrt{2}

so, side = diagonal × \sqrt{2}

            = 96  × \sqrt{2}

           = 96× 1.414

          = 135.74

Now, we also know the formula of area of square

Area = (side)²

       = (135.74)²

      = 18426.43 cm²

      = 1.84 m²

The area of the square will be 1.84 m²

Given:

It is given that the length of the diagonal is 96 cm

Find:

We have to find out the area of the square.

Solution:

Now,

we know the relation between diagonal and side of a square.

diagonal    = \frac{Side}{\sqrt{2}}

so,

side = diagonal * \sqrt{2}

             = 96  * \sqrt{2}

             = 96* 1.414

              = 135.74

Now,

we also know the formula of area of square

Area = (side)^{2}

         = (135.74)^{2}

         =18426.43 cm^{2}

         = 1.84 m^{2}

Hence, we get the area of the square will be = 1.84 m^{2}
