As a square has equal sides so let the sides be x then all the angels of the square is equal to 90° and the diagonals of a square are also equal .
Therefore,
Let the square be ABCD
ABC is a right angle triangle
hence , (x^2)+(x^2)=(2.4^2)
2 (x^2)=5.76m
x^2=11.52
x=root11.52
x=24root3
area of square =4 (24root3)
