Find the area of a square whose diagonal is 5√2cm.

diagonal of square=5√2 cm,

√2 × side =5√2,

then

side=5 cm,

therefore
Area of the square=side²,

=5²=25 cm²

Diagnol of sq. = (√2)a unit (where a= equal side of the square)

Diagnol= 5√2cm

5√2 = a√2

a= 5cm

Area of square= (side)^2

Area = a^2

Area = 5^2

Area = (25) cm^2
