let x is the diagonal of a square then X√2 will be its diagonal so on comparing we get x=5. Now area =5×5=25 cm square

Given :-
Diagonal of so square = 5√2 cm.

We have to obtain the area of square.....

Area of square = 1/2×diagonal².
= 1/2 × 5√2 × 5√2
= 1/2 × 5 × 5 × √2 × √2.
= 5 × 5
= 25 cm².

Hence the area of square is 25 cm².
