Let the side of square =x

By Pythagoras theorem,

(5√2)²=x²+x²

25*2=2x²

50/2 =x²

25=x²

√25=x

5=x

Now the side of square is 5

Then,

Area of square =side²

Here, area of square =5²

Area of square =25

I hope this will help you
