Given :-

  • The Side of the Square = Diameter of the circle
  • Circumference if the Circle = 154cm

 \\ \\

To Find :-

  • Area of the Square

 \\ \\

Solution :-

➞ Circumference of Circle = 2πr

➞ 154 = 2 × 22/7 × Radius

➞ 154 ÷ 2 = 22/7 × Radius

➞ 77 = 22/7 × Radius

➞ 77 × 7 = 22 × Radius

➞ 539 = 22 × Radius

➞ 539 ÷ 22 = Radius

➞ 24.5 = Radius

________________

It was given that diameter of the Circle = Side of the Square

➞ Diameter of Circle = 2 × Radius

➞ Diameter of Circle = 2 × 24.5

➞ Diameter of Circle = 49cm

Therefore, Side of the Square = 49cm

________________

➞ Area of Square = (Side)²

➞ Area of Square = Side × Side

➞ Area of Square = 49 × 49

➞ Area of Square = 2401cm²

Therefore, Area of Square = 2401cm²
