Find the area of a trapezium whose distance between parallel sides is 6m and the parallel sides are of length 9m and 3.6 m.

area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel side)height

=1/2 (9+3.6) 6

= 1/2 (12.6) 6

=6/2 (12.6)

= 3 (12.6)

= 37.8
