Parallel sides of trapezium = 2.2 cm and 3.5 cm

Find :

  • Area of trapezium

Solution :

Area  \: of \:  trapezium = \\   \\  \implies \frac{sum  \: of \:  parallel  \: sides}{2} × Height \\  \\ \implies \frac{2.2cm + 3.5cm}{2} \:  \times 2cm \\  \\ \implies  \frac{5.7cm}{2} \:  \times 2m \\  \\ \implies5.7cm {}^{2}

Hence, Area of trapezium is 5.7 cm ²
