find the area of a trapezium whose paralled side is equal to 15cm and one 39cm and the distance between them is 28cm.

area of trapezium = 1/2× sum of || sides × height
area = 1/2× 54×28
area = 27×28
area = 756 cm^2

Distance between them= 28cm

Area = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides×distance between them

A = 1/2. (39+15} × 28 = 756 cm^2
