find the area of a trapezium whose parallel side is 57 and 39 cm and the distance between them is 28 cm

Area of trapezium = 1/2×(57+29)×28

=> Area of trapezium = 1/2×86×28 = 1204 cm^2 ✔

area of trapezium =1/2*sum of parallel sides +the distance between two lines .

=1/2 *(57+39)* 28

=1/2*96*28

=96*14

=1344cm²
