we know that the length of the parallel sides is 38.7cm and 22.3cm and height (h)=16cm

By using the formula Area of trapezium =1/2×(sum of parallel side)×height, we have

=1/2×(38.7+22.3)×16

=488cm

Answer:

area of trapezium is 408 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

h = 16 cm

a = 28.7 cm

b = 22.3 cm

area of trapezium = a+b/2 ×h

= 28.7 + 22.3 / 2 × 16

= 51 × 8

= 408
