Area of trapezium = 1/2×(a+b)×h

= 0.5×(38.7+22.3)×16

= 488 cm²

Heya !!

Length of parallel sides of a trapezium are 38.7 cm and 22.3 cm respectively.

Sum of parallel sides = ( 38.7 + 22.3) cm = 61 cm.

Distance between two parallel sides = 16 cm.

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( Sum of parallel sides ) × ( Distance between them ).

1/2 × 61 × 16

488 cm².

Hence,

Area of a trapezium = 488 cm².
