we know that area of trapezium = 1/2×( sum of parallel sides ) × and distance between them

= 1/2×(4cm+5cm)×2cm

= 1/2×9cm×2cm

=9cm

Given :

⬤ Parallel Sides of Trapezium are 4 cm and 5 cm .

⬤ Height of Trapezium is 2 cm.

To Find :

⬤ Area of Trapezium .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area\:of\: Trapezium=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{(Sum\:of\:Parallel\:Side)}\times{h}}\:]

  • h = height

Solution :

  • Parallel Sides = 4 cm , 5 cm .
  • Height = 2 cm .

According to the Formula :-

1/2 × (4 + 5) × 2

4 + 5

9

Therefore , The Area of Trapezium is 9 cm² .
