Given :

  • Parallel sides of trapezium are 75 mm and 82 mm long.
  • Vertical height of trapezium is 39 mm.

To Find :

  • Area of trapezium = ?

Solution :

As we are given the parallel sides which area 75 mm and 82 mm and height of trapezium is 39 mm. So, here we have to just insert this given things in given below formula:

  • Area of trapezium = ½ × (Sum of parallel sides) × Height

Now,plug in the given values in above given formula :

→ Area of trapezium = ½ × (75 + 82) × 39

→ Area of trapezium = ½ × 157 × 39

Divide 6123 by 2 we get :

→ Area of trapezium = ½ × 6123

→ Area of trapezium = 3061.5 mm²

  • Hence, the area of trapezium is 3061.5 mm².
