area of a trapezium whose parallel sides area
5cm and 24cm
and the
distance between them is 15 cm.​

Given:-

  • AB→5cm
  • DC→24cm
  • AD→15cm(AD)

To find:-

  • Area of Trapezium ABCD

Here:-

As we know area of Trapezium:→

:➝ \frac{1}{2}\times( sum \: of \: parallel \: sides )\times height \:  {u}^{2}

Therefore, area of Trapezium ABCD:→

:➝ \frac{1}{2}  + (5 + 24) \times 15 {cm}^{2}

:➝ \frac{1}{2}  \times 29 \times 15 {cm}^{2}

:➝ \frac{435}{2}  {cm}^{2}

:➝217.5 {cm}^{2}

Hence area of Trapezium is 217.5cm²
