parellel sides = 16cm , 12 cm

height = 12 cm

area of trapezium =1/2× sum of parellel sides of the trapezium × height

area =1/2×16+12×12

area =168

We know that ,

area of trapezium= sum of parallel lines/2×h

= 16+22/2×12

= 228cm
