Find the area of a triangle between lines and axis 3x+y-5=0 and 2x-y-5=0.​

here given expression in linear equation is

3x + y - 5 = 0.............1)

2x- y - 5= 0.................2)

for finding the points where the lines meet at y-axis.

we have to put x = 0

therefore, 3 X 0 + y - 5 = 0

y=5 thus eq. 1) intersect y-axis at (0,5)

for eq. 2)

2 X 0 - y - 5 = 0

y =5 thus eq. 2) intersect y-axis at (0,5)
