find the area of a triangle having base 6 cm and altitude 8 cm

area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height
= 1/2 * 6 * 8
= 24cm2

we can consider altitude as height.
so
Area of triangle
= 1/2 × b × h
= 1/2 × 6 × 8
= 3 × 8
= 24
so area of triangle is 24 sq.cm
