Area of the triangle = 1/2(b)(h) = 1/2(7)(2) = 7cm²

We know area of triangle (with base and height/altitude given)=1/2×base×height/altitude

Therefore, area of ∆ABC=1/2×BC×AD sq.unit(s)

=1/2×10×7 cm²

=5×7 cm²

=35 cm²(Ans)
