SOLUTION

GIVEN:

Perimeter of triangle= 36 cm

sides of triangle = 2:3:4

TO FIND :

Sides of triangle =???

SOLUTION:

Perimeter of triangle = a +b+c

36 cm = 2x + 3x + 4x

36 cm = 9x

x = 36 ÷ 9

x = 4 cm

Now,1st side = 2x = 2×4 = 8 cm

2nd side = 3x = 3 ×4 = 12 cm

3rd side = 4x = 4 ×4 =16 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let one side x

perimeter of triangle =sum of all sides

36 =2x+3x+4x

36=9x

36/9=x

4=x

2x=4×2=8

3x=3×4=12

4x=4×4=16

area =1/2×b×h

=1/2×12×16

6×16

96
