Find the area of a triangle, two sides of which are 5 cm, 6 cm and the perimeter is 20 cm.

Answer:

perimeter=sum of all the sides of triangles

20=5+6+x (let the unknown number be x)

x=9

area of triangle=1/2×base×height

area=14.14 cm^2

perimeter = 20cm

triangle has,

first side = 5 cm

second side = 6cm

third side = x

so ,

5cm + 6cm + x = 20cm

x = 20cm - (5cm + 6cm)

x = 20cm - 11cm

x = 9cm

area of triangle is base×height

solve with this method you will get the answer
