Answer:

perimeter = a+b+c

32 = 11 + 8 + c

32- 19 = c

13 = c

area of triangle = 1/2 ×b×h

1/2 ×8×11

44 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of triangle =sum of all sides

GIVEN

AB=11 cm

BC=8cm

CA=x

Perimeter =32

p=AB+BC+CA

32=11+8+X

32 =19 +X

32-19=X

X=32-19

X=13

using herons formula

semi perimeter =

 \frac{11 + 8 + 13}{2}  \\  =  \frac{32}{2}  \\  = 16

s =  \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s -  c)} \\ s =  \sqrt{16(16 - 11)(16 - 8)(16 - 13)}  \\ s =  \sqrt{16 \times 5 \times 8 \times 3}  \\ s =  \sqrt{1920}  \\ s = 43.81cm
